Keewe Fundraising

Fintech allows SMEs to engage in the ecological transition through their foreign currency transactions. Since April 2021, it has opened accounts with nearly 80 companies and has made it possible to offset 4000 tons of CO2 thanks to 15 million euros exchanged.
This fundraising from Business Angels will allow it to strengthen its sales teams and its offer in favor of ecological transition.
Banking platform that places ecological transition at the heart of its business
A strong appetite among SMEs for a banking platform that places ecological transition at the heart of its activity.
While the pressure is increasing in favor of the ecological transition of SMEs, they do not know how to get involved.
A significant part of their carbon footprint comes from operations related to international trade (production abroad + transport).
These international transactions often lead to transactions in foreign currencies and these forex (foreign exchange) activities are often misunderstood by these SMEs, which suffer from a lack of transparency and excessively high pricing on the part of their banking partners.
Founded by 4 partners (Jean-Yves Rettel, Adrien Farras, Adrien Farras, Alexandre Torbay and Vincent Voisin), former members of BNP Paribas, Western Union and CapGemini, Keewe answers this double problem.
Keewe benefits
Thanks to Keewe, customers benefit from a double value proposition:
- they simplify and reduce the commissions paid on the management of their foreign currency payments,
- and benefit from a cashback in carbon credits for each currency exchange transaction, which represents up to 25% of the margin made by Keewe.
Keewe has just completed a seed of 1.25 million euros with Business Angels, including Guillaume Amblard, historical investor (BA at Ledger, Lendable...) and former head of trading and quantitative research at BNP Paribas, Jérôme Camblain, Partner at Smart Lenders Asset Management, including Guillaume Amblard, former Partner at Lenders Asset Management, Yann Samuelides, ex Partner at Goldman Sachs, Alexandre Ichaï (Ava Capital) and the Business Angels of Arts and Trades (AMBA).
Thanks to this funding, Keewe will be able to strengthen its commercial teams and develop other offers for SMEs in order to simplify and automate their actions in favor of the fight against global warming.
